I thought must have nautical info, but a event hall now. There is much info on the original building and how it was aquired. A new greeting entrance has been added. There is a new yard metal art piece off the water side. Also, had art exhibits. Some nice old furniture in a beautiful building. The outside garden on lower level is so pretty. Great water views from many floors. An elevator to all floors and outside ramps. Inside are clean restrooms with nice lots of room to move.

The War Memorial - We couldn't have asked for a better experience having our wedding at TWM. Megan, our coordinator, was so phenomenal and easy going to work with, and the staff throughout the day were perfect. Our servers and event staff went above and beyond and we couldn’t be more thankful for them. We couldn't have asked for better treatment on our wedding day, and have absolutely no regrets choosing TWM.

This sunset jazz concert ar the War Memorial was beautiful! The music selection was delightful, and the band performance was wonderful. We enjoyed it all!

The war memorial is a gorgeous venue, if you are a fan of military memorabilia, historic architecture, and outstaning water front views this is the place to visit or book an event. This is my first time visiting, the staff were amazing in particular Phil he provided A1 top notch service, he is exceptionally hospitable, and took the time to provide information about the new additions to the original Alger home, historical memorabilia, and a fun story about the original fountain center piece. To top it off there is amazing food and fine drink options. You won't be disappointed.

As a wedding vendor I had the privilege working with Emily and her team at the War Memorial. Love the venue, super friendly staffs and very accommodating. The outdoor ceremony site is lovely with all the greens. The reception tent with natural lighting, perfect for photos and pretty much everything else.

🥰 Beautiful Ambience. We recently visited the War Memorial for a candlelight concert and it was beautiful. The view was the Detroit River & Canadian border. It was an very intimate setting, that I think could host a number of events. I love coming home. Detroit definitely has some 💎❗️
